Time, Date & Location
We look forward to welcoming you to our Barcamp on Sunday 10 June, from 3:00 pm CEST at Palais at Kulturbrauerei (Schönhauser Allee 36, 10435 Berlin – Prenzlauer Berg).
On Monday 10 June, we will start with the opening session at 09:30 am CEST, followed by our keynote by Zuzanna Warso. Check out our schedule to navigate through the sessions. The session programme ends at 6:00 pm. We will conclude the day with our Get Together.
On Tuesday 11 June, sessions start at 09:30 am and end at 5:15 pm.
Our aim is to have a conference that is open and accessible to everyone. You can find all the information about accessibility at a glance on our website. Barcamp
On Sunday 9 June, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Nick Burch will be hosting our Barcamp, where you can discuss relevant topics in a relaxed environment, network with other attendees or get feedback on the latest project you’ve been working on. Barcamps are informal, ‘un-conferenced’ sessions with a schedule determined on the day. Everything is driven by the interests and expertise of the attendees, so each one is different but always great! Admission to our Barcamp is included in every on-site conference pass.
Get Together
Join us on Monday 10 June, for our Get Together, kindly sponsored by our partner Search Guard and round off the evening with friends and business contacts or get to know other Berlin Buzzwords participants. A range of vegetarian and vegan snacks and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided. The Get-Together is open for all speakers and participants who purchased an on-site ticket for Berlin Buzzwords 2024 – no registration or RSVP required!

There’s no better way to spread the word than with stickers! We will have a sticker booth where everyone is welcome to drop off or pick up stickers related to open source and free software. Stop by and get yours!
MICES EU 2024
One day after Berlin Buzzwords, on 12 June, another great event will take place in Berlin – MICES EU 2024. A one-day event on e-commerce search that brings together experts from different backgrounds – such as IT, product managers, UX designers, search managers, information retrieval specialists, data scientists, search engine vendors – to discuss challenges, ideas, best practices and case studies in e-commerce search. Admission is free but registration is required.
